AllOne are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the contract under Lot 1 of the new FOI Training Framework. This means that we will be continuing to provide you with the 2-day Decision Maker Course and the Public Access to Information (PAI) Course. We have an impressive line-up of Trainers, all experienced Practitioners in the FOI field and they are on hand to deliver inhouse, online and open booking courses.

The courses offered now include:-

  • Public Access to Information (PAI) - this is a one-day course suited to those assisting Decision Makers in gathering and scheduling records. We cover the steps in processing an FOI request including validity, voluminous, narrowing scope, charging a fee, adequacy of search and preparing the schedule of records. We also take an overview of the other Access Regimes including the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Access to Information on the Environment (AIE), Re-use of Public Sector Information (PSI) and Administrative Access.
  • FOI Decision Maker Training - this is now a two-day course with lots of time for Case Studies and practical examples and discussion. Day 1 focuses on the processing of a request - context & background of the Act, validity, voluminous, fees, narrowing scope, refusals on administrative grounds. Day 2 focuses on the public interest & harm tests and the exemptions.

To book your course please email us on info@alloneltd.ie or sinead@alloneltd.ie or give us a call on 087 6828733 if you would like to discuss your options.
Courses will also be run in various locations around the country (Dublin, Athlone & Cork) so keep an eye on our "Courses" page to see the next scheduled events.

Of course, training is not the only support that you will need, if you are new to FOI you will need support and advice on how to put in place a robust FOI structure that will ensure your organisation’s continued compliance with the Act. You may also need further support to handle complex FOI requests, for example, you may receive an FOI request for access to very sensitive corporate records and you have concerns about the implications of release. Further down the line it is likely that you will be liaising with the Office of the Information Commissioner and you may require expert support and guidance to steer you through this process.

For all your FOI needs, AllOne Ltd. will be there to support you. We can offer support, advice and guidance, we can process your FOI requests for you and we will assist you to build expertise in your organisation so that you can operate the Act with confidence.   Should you wish to discuss any of our services, please call Sinéad on 087 6828733 or email her on sinead@alloneltd.ie.

We look forward to working with you in the future!
